points total
Primary attributes enhanced: Healing spells
Tier
1:
Improved
Mark of the Wild - 5 pts total
Increases the effects of Mark of the Wild and Gift of the Wild
by 35% total. At level 60 that is 100 more armor, +4 more to each
stat, and +7 to each resistence.
Furor
- 5 pts total
Gives you 100% chance to gain 10 rage or 40 energy when switching
to bear/cat forms respectively. With this talent you can use feral
charge or bash immediately after shapeshifting and wait less time
for energy to charge in cat form.
Tier
2 (5 pts in restoration req):
Improved
Healing Touch - 5 pts total
Reduces the cast time of Healing Touch by 0.5 seconds. This makes
HT a 3.0 cast at level 60 and is short enough to be used in conjunction
with bash (3.5 usually is too long and target can come out of
stun to interrupt).
Nature's
Focus - 5 pts total
Gives a 70% chance to avoid interruption caused by damage while
casting Healing Touch, Regrowth and Tranquility. This talent has
grew less important since Barkskin was added, but it is still
nice since casting during barkskin is penalized with a +1 second
cast time.
Improved
Enrage - 2 pts total
The enrage ability will instantly generate 10 rage (5 for 1 point
in this talent). With this talent you can activate enrage if you
don't have the rage for feral charge or bash. If you are only
planning on using feral charge with this talent it would be fine
to only put 1 talent point in here.
Tier
3 (10 pts in restoration req):
Reflection
- 3 pts total
Allows 15% of your mana to regenerate while you are casting.
Insect
Swarm - 1 point
Decreases the target's chance to hit by 2% and does x damage over
12 seconds. Low mana cost; good for a secondary DoT used in conjunction
with moonfire.
Subtlety
- 5 pts total
Decreases the threat caused by your healing by 20%. Purely PVE
talent. Since the druid has no aggro control abilities like fade,
this will help reduce aggro. However if you are alliance you can
just ask a paladin for Salvation which is better than this.
Tier
4 (15 pts in restoration req):
Tranquil
Spirit - 5 pts total
Reduces the mana cost of your Healing Touch and Tranquility spells
by 10%. Like subtlety, this is another healbot talent.
Improved
Rejuvenation - 3 pts total
Increases the effect of your rejuvenation spells by 15%. Since
rejuvenation is your only instant-cast heal spell not counting
Nature's swiftness, this 15% can come in handy. It also works
well in PVE since you can rely on this more and it causes less
aggro than HT and Regrowth.
Tier
5 (20 pts in restoration req):
Nature's
Swiftness - 1 point (req 5 pts
in Improved Healing Touch)
Makes your next Nature spell instant with a 3 minute cooldown.
This talent is awesome because all of your heals are considered
nature oriented. That means you can instantly heal to almost full
life once every 3 minutes with this talent. Good for PVE and PVP
alike, but can be dispelled/purged.
Gift
of Nature - 5 pts total (req 1
point in Insect Swarm)
Increases the effect of all your healing spells by 10%. Another
healbot talent. This one is great because it affects all types
of heals and stacks with other healing improvement talents. (ie
if you have improved rejuvenation your rejuv would be +25%.)
Improved
Tranquility - 2 pts total
Reduces the threat caused by Tranquility by 80%. Purely healbot
talent and makes tranquility cause almost no threat, which in
turn makes it more viable.
Tier
6 (25 pts in restoration req):
Improved
Regrowth - 5 pts total
Increases the critical effect chance of Regrowth by 50%. With
this talent you will crit over half the time with regrowth. Crits
for regrowth is almost as much as a normal healing touch + the
heal over time portion for only 2 seconds cast time. With this
talent you can use regrowth as your main heal. Also good for PVP
where you won't have time to pull off 3-3.5 second heals under
most circumstances.
Tier
7 (30 pts in restoration req):
Innervate
- 1 point (req 5 pts in Tranquil Spirit)
The target of this spell regenerates mana at 400% of normal rate,
in combat or not, and regenerates mana at 100% of normal rate
while casting. Basically, if your target isn't casting, he or
she restores ~75% of his or her mana bar. A little less when casting
and varies from person to person depending on spirit, but you
get the general idea. Lasts 20 seconds, 6 minute cooldown. With
this spell you get less downtime while grinding (less use of drinks),
saves you from wipes if you have no mana in instances while healing,
and good for PVP against multiple targets. The only drawback is
that it can be purged/dispelled.
