Druid Cure Poison Quest

Level 14, as an alliance I received a letter in the mail to see Mathrengyl Bearwalker in Cenarion Enclave, Darnassus, and that's where this quest started. I'm not sure if it's the same thing for Horde as well but the quest starts at Turak Runetotem on the Elder Rise, Thunder Bluff. The alliance and horde versions are pretty different for this quest. The only similarity is the Nighthaven parts.

Night elf version:

Step 1:
Quest: Lessons Anew
Objective: Travel to Moonglade and speak with Dendrite Starblaze in the village of Nighthaven.

Step 2:
Quest: The Principal Source
Objective: Use the Empty Cliffspring Falls Sampler to draw a sample of water from the mouth of the cave by the falls. Deliver the Filled Cliffspring Falls Sampler to Alanndarian Nightsong in Auberdine, Darkshore.

You have to collect the water in the pool that's right next to the southern cave. It's basically the south end of the stream. Beware of the level 16-17 mobs in the area when you collect the water. You might need a partner to kill them first. The exact location where you have to collect water is here:

Step 3:
Quest: Gathering the Cure
Objective: Bring 5 Earthroot and 12 Lunar Funguses to Alanndarian Nightsong in Auberdine so she may make a curative salve.

If you are an herbalist you can collect Earthroot. If you are not, you'll have to ask an herbalist for help or buy from the auction house. The Lunar Funguses are found in any of the 3 moonkin caves east-southeast of Auberdine. They look like this:

After collecting all the materials needed you will receive curative animal salve.

Step 4:
Quest: Curing the Sick

Objective: Use the Curative Animal Salve on 10 Sickly Deer that are located throughout Darkshore; doing so should cure them. Sickly Deer have been reported starting south of the Cliffspring River to the north of Auberdine and extending all the way into southern Darkshore where the edge of Ashenvale begins.

This part is easy; infected deers are everywhere. They look like this:

Return to Dendrite Starblaze in the village of Nighthaven when you are done.

Step 5:
Quest: Power over Poison

Objective: Return to Mathrengyl Bearwalker in the Cenarion Enclave, Darnassus. You will receive the spell "Cure Poison" for completing these quests.

Tauren version:

Step 1:
Quest: Lessons Anew
Objective: Travel to Moonglade and speak with Dendrite Starblaze in the village of Nighthaven.

Step 2:
Quest: The Principal Source
Objective: Use the Empty Dreadmist Peak Sampler to draw a sample of water from a pool at the top of the peak. Deliver the Filled Dreadmist Peak Sampler to Tonga Runetotem at the Crossroads, Barrens.

To reach the top of Dreadmist Peak look for a path in the northern part of the mountain lit with torches. You will come across a few camps of mobs before reaching the top. The exact location of the pool here:

Step 3:
Quest: Gathering the Cure
Objective: Bring 5 Earthroot and 5 Kodo Horns to Tonga Runetotem at the Crossroads so he may make a curative salve.

If you are an herbalist you can collect Earthroot. If you are not, you'll have to ask an herbalist for help or buy from the auction house. The Kodo horns are found by killing kodos in the barrens. They are found north-northwest of Crossroads. In case you don't know what a kodo is:

Step 4:
Quest: Curing the Sick

Objective: Use the Curative Animal Salve on 10 Sickly Gazelles that are located throughout the northern part of the Barrens; doing so should cure them. Sickly Gazelles have been reported north of the east-west road that runs through the Crossroads.

This part is easy; sickly gazelles are everywhere. They look like this:

Return to Dendrite Starblaze in the village of Nighthaven when you are done.

Step 5:
Quest: Power over Poison

Objective: Return to Turak Runetotem on the Elder Rise, Thunder Bluff. You will receive the spell "Cure Poison" for completing these quests.
