About the Author

I first started my druid around January of 2005. Since then I also trained a 60 paladin and a 60 mage, not to mention many other lower level alts. But ultimately I went back to my druid, as no other class was as entertaining as druids to me. My druid was actually the second character I created, who became my main. My first character was a 21 mage on a server I no longer play on, so at the time of my druid's creation, the learning curve was very steep for me as druid is one of the hardest classes to master in my opinion.

I picked a druid to play only for the reason that they can turn into animals at first. I remember one day, I was on my mage, and I saw a cheetah running through Elwynn Forest while I was on my way to Lakeshire. I thought to myself, wow, that’s an interesting concept.. turning into animals to fight and such. That’s when I rolled a druid for myself. When I first started playing her, I didn’t know what roles she was going to play endgame or anything. I didn’t even know druids could heal before I rolled one, to be honest.

This guide is written all based on my personal experience as I leveled my druid. I guarantee that no secondhand information will be found here unless otherwise specified. I will share with you the information I’ve collected during my arduous journey from level 1 to 60, brought up soloing and partying with people of similar level and not “power-leveled”. I hope that this guide will give you some great data and insights on the druid class, as a lot of time and effort has been put into playing the druid (over 62 played days and 8 respecs already) and composing this website.

And of course, always feel free to email me with comments and suggestions!
